Brian Hughes is a licensed guide on Purtis Creek Lake and Lake Athens. He is the host of the Texas Fishing & Outdoors Show on the Texas State Networks and is a staff writer the Richland Chambers Progress. Brian is a member of the Texas Outdoor Writers Association, past member AmBASSador staff, Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education Program and certified angler instructor.

Brian has been a guest on "Fishing Country", with Charlie Pack and "Fox Four Outdoors" with Jay Durkin. He has had photo appearances in Bassmaster Magazine. Brian is also special advisor on warm water/bass fishing with the Orvis Company, Dallas.
